I'm Thankful. Day 1.

On facebook, the cool thing to do for the month of November is say what we are thankful for. Get it, thankful during the month of Thanksgiving. Really creative, I know. Allows me to stand out from the crowd, I know. Anyways, despite it's predictability and lack of individuality, I like it. I could afford to spend time each day being grateful.

So, today, I am thankful for the things and people that I have been blessed with and that I have been granted the wisdom and perspective to be able to see them and appreciate them, despite their flaws and dysfunction. Two perfect examples of this are my husband and my laptop.

I am grateful to have my laptop despite the lack of a 1/! key. I am blessed to have been able to buy a laptop a few years ago and to have been able to upkeep it and have it still in operation. I am blessed to have it so that I can work from home, connect to my friends online, and to do my school work.

I am grateful to have my husband, who despite all his flaws and baggage has stepped up to be an amazing husband and father. I am so happy with how he has provided for us as I have made career changes and chosen to return to school. I am proud of how he has turned to God to lead him and to lead our family.
