In the last few days, weeks, months, life has been difficult. Therapy has helped. Honestly, therapy may have saved me from truely admitting myself to the behavioral health center. If I were not getting the help, I may not have been able to cope.
Painting orders have increased. And, what makes me happiest is that they are not only orders for tins. People are beginning to recognize that I can paint many things, and I am always excited when someone says, "Hey, do you think you can paint this on that?" Heck ya, I can. I just finished a wine glass, am halfway done with a mural, and tonight, I painted a roller derby helmet. Soon, I'm painting a landscape on a cabinet, may be getting orders for wedding glasses, and am hoping to paint signs for a nonprofit. And, I put my name out there to do a mural for a large local business, which would ROCK if they chose me, because it would be awesome publicity! Plus, I think I may start pushing the advertising a little more. We shall see.
A ton of family stuff has come up. The one most fresh on my heart deals with my dad. It just sucks. I'm sure soon, I will post a whole post about it, but just don't want to right now. However, here are a list of just a few posts that I'm hoping to write up soon:
