Silent Morning.

It's a silent morning.

I hear fingertips clicking my keyboard. The clock ticking away the seconds. The motor of my laptop quietly whirring. Occassionally, the muffled sound of a car or truck on the street outside comes in.

Inside my mind, nothing is silent. Nothing stays so still and calm.

Today is Joshua's viewing. Tomorrow is the funeral.

My heart is so heavy with heartbreak for dear friends and sickness for the situation.

I drink my hot coffee and feel it slide down, warming my insides as it goes, making no noise.

It's a silent morning.

It's silent mourning.
