Hola y Bienvenidos

So, as if I don't have enough on my plate, I have decided to revisit owning a blog.

I have missed the sense of peace and joy that comes from me taking a few minutes a day to write about the events of the day: the fun, the stressful, the tears, and the giggles that come from a house full of two kids and a husband, a neverending list of to do's, the goals of trying to live the best life we can to honor God.

For example, as I am writing this, I have been involved in the following conversation with the giant 1-year-old whom we call Teo (short for Mateo) wearing a shirt reading "Little HERO for Hire" as he climbed on the armrest of the chair...

Me: Teo....don't climb on the chair. You're going to fall off and hurt yourself. Get down right.
Him: Nnnnnnoooo.
THUMP.
(Teo screaming because he fell off and landed on his head)
Me: See, I told ya so.

Don't worry, two seconds later, he was climbing on the couch. And back to telling me "nnooo." And sitting on his sister's head, while she screams dramatically. She's 4 and the over-exaggerater of the family. Dramatics are a necessity at all times. Her name is Isa (short for Isabel) and right now, she's laying on a beanbag watching Up holding her newest friend, a bear she named Miss Cocoa (Cocoa for short).

The hubs, who answers to many names, including "Daddy," "Dada," "Jerk," and "Jose" (which is short for nothing) is at his post, aka the kitchen making dinner. Teriaki chicken. Mmmm. And, believe me, it smells amazing.

My brain is telling me that it's time to wrap this up for many reasons: 1. I'm already distracted. 2. I have a to do list for the week that has boiled down to today and there are not enough hours to do it all, which needs to at least be attempted. And 3. I forget already.

So, there ya have it. My newest blog. More to come soon, I'm sure. :)

Like the blog. You seem so busy, you need to pray for more arms or something, lol. We still need to get together sometime, when we both have some time whenever that is. Take care:)
