The thought has plagued me all day...and I don't know what to do. I hate these "stuck between a rock and a hard place" scenerios....
Jose's niece has leukemia.
Leukemia is thought to be genetic, with environmental triggers.
We do not know if it would be genetic on the maternal side or the paternal side, hence, it may be in Jose's genetic disposition.
Jose had a baby with the other chick.
Should she be told about this genetic possibility?
As a mom, I think I would want to know. Just to know. Health history, especially big things like cancer, are important. As the wife who had a cheating husband, I just want it all to go away. But, I know it won't. It is a reality that we must face for the rest of our lives. With that in mind, I then feel morally obligated to make sure she knows.
What would you do?

I'm so sorry you're in this position. I'd share all of Jose's family's medical history at once. Like any heart problems, etc and the leukemia so you only have to go there once. Sit down with Jose and ask about each side of the family and write it all down and mail it off. xo

Lots of things are possible and 'may' happen.
It is possible that when she slept with your Husband she could have ruined your marriage and you 'may' not even know of the possibility of your children being pre-disposed. It is possible that you could have become a single Mom because she is a home wrecker.
I just don't see where you become morally obligated to someone who slept with your Husband.
There are no known facts of a predisposition. If she wanted to do the right thing by her child she should have obtained his medical history before playing with YOUR life since she was not married to your Husband.
