My Newest Netflix Addictions

I am fairly certain that we will never cancel Netflix.

For about $10 a month, $120 total a year, I am in love. We were spending twice that before buying four dvds a month. (Yes, we were spending $20 on 4 dvds, previously viewed from Blockbuster.)

We have sold a couple shelves worth of our dvd collection and have made enough money from them to pay our Netflix bill for over a year, and the best part is...every single dvd we sold is available for instant viewing on our television now.

So, at first, I stuck to things familiar. I watched all the available Glee episodes. I watched some movies that I had wanted to see for awhile. The kids found their favorite shows, like Dora and Spongebob.

Then, we stepped out a bit. Began to watch shows that we didn't know much about. The kids have fallen in love with Hey Arnold! and Ahh! Real Monsters. We have unwrapped a new level of "reality" shows and love Pawn Stars, Hoarders, Clean House, Obsessed, Addicted, Superhumans, etc. I have fallen in love with dramatic cheesy shows that are mostly aimed at teens, such as Secret Life of an American Teenager, Drop Dead Diva, Accidentally On Purpose, and most recently, Hidden Palms.

It's bad. For real. If I end up missing, look for me in front of my television, drooling and with my eyes glazed over.

Lois and Clark: New Adventures of Superman. The entire series is on there. I love, love, LOVE it. Probably my favorite show ever. Dean Cain is SO drool worthy. Yes, it is corny and cheesy in places, but I ADORE IT SO MUCH.

Also, The Young Victoria is a great movie on there.. And Accidently on Purpose is HILARIOUS, but sadly only lasted 1 season.

We just purchased a Wii, which means I can now lay in bed and watch Grey's before going to bed on the Netflix. LOVE.
