My Prayer for Today

Dear God,

You are my Father. You are The Father. You have never left my side and I know that I need You now. Please, wrap Your arms around me and comfort me. Take away my fear. Take away my pain.

Please be with me. Please be with me. Please be with me.

Guide my heart and my words with your hands. Allow me to withhold my boundaries and to speak Your truth in love. Help me to keep my emotional self at bay and be able to stay true to myself and true to Your purpose. Ease this anxiety inside of me.

I know that You are bigger than this. Always. And help me to always remember this.

I am struggling to be okay with Your calling to me, Your demands of me. Sometimes, I just want to curl in a ball and hide from You. From the trials. I whine and cry out for an easy life, and I know that You have blessed me with these hard times. I trust that You are using this life to strengthen me, so that I can better serve you.

I am sorry that I am so stubborn. I am so so so sorry that I fight against Your will. Please continue to do Your work in my life. I love you.
