Cops and robbers.
Good guys and bad guys.
Bad versus evil.
Bad versus evil.
As a child, growing up, you are given this black and white image of the world. There are these people that are good. There are these people who are not. Period.
What is not mentioned are those grey areas. Those people that are not bad people, they just make bad decisions.
A loving mother who choses between an abusive husband who can provide or a life of homelessness and poverty by leaving.
A teenager who strives to receive missing affection by putting out for any man that shows her attention, consequentially resulting in a pregnancy of a baby that is unwanted.
A man who is in a marriage that has lost all emotion except anger who turns to another woman for a relationship.
An abused child who becomes a drug user that is such a drain to his family that they are left poor, financially and emotionally.
A young man who has grown up without a father, engaging in criminal activity to find acceptance from gang members.
The list could continue forever. And ever.
Who is the good guy? Who is the bad guy? Where is the black and white now?
