Crap. I forgot.
Growing up, it was a joke in our house that I forgot things. A lot. My mom would tell me to go upstairs, grab my socks, brush my hair, and bring down my homework and I'd come down with socks. I then had to admit that I forgot the other things she told me to do.
My stepdad joked that you couldn't tell me more than one thing to do without writing it out for me. This was the reason that much of my high school career was spent with things written on my hand.
This is also the reason that I have a million to-do lists.
But the most amusing trick I use was one learned early on...the repetition trick. I am so glad my husband loves me because I will often walk through the house singing my list to not forget things.
For example, as I pack up the diaper bag: "Teo's shoes, diaper, sippy cup, wipes. Teo's shoes, diaper, sippy cup, wipes." Or when I run to the basement: "Laundry, can of peas, juice, hoodies. Laundry, can of peas, juice, hoodies."
Sometimes, there's even a cool dance involved.

I think that a video of the list dance would be appropriate.
New Follower!!!
I can remember things pretty easy...but I apparently inherited my grandma's knack for inventing silly songs for everything. Your list songs would be a hit around our house!
No list dance videos will be posted. The extra element of filming it would probably cause me to forget what I needed to do! Distractions are my worst enemy!!! ;) I definately recommend singing your list of things to do. It makes it more enjoyable! :)
(And thanks for following!)
